Armero

Armero is the alias of Sebastian Cardenas, a Spanish DJ and producer active in techno and hard techno since the early 2020s. His public profile began to take shape in 2023 and since then he has developed a strongly dancefloor-focused approach: high tempos, hard percussion, schranz references and set structures designed to maintain constant pressure without reducing the repertoire to a single register.

His own production has grown alongside his DJ schedule. Through his official channels he has released tracks including My Feelings, Simon Says (Schranz Edit) and Hijos de la Ruina, as well as Dimension, a collaboration with El Mene released in 2026. Some of this material has been distributed as free downloads or self-releases, so there is currently no sufficiently documented stable label affiliation to assign him to one particular imprint. That absence of a traditional catalogue does not make the project's evolution difficult to follow: his tracks show a progressive move towards faster structures, drier kicks and contemporary hard-techno techniques.

Armero has also worked on the organisational side of club culture. He is connected to Matadero Club and Nexo Club, two projects developed around Murcia, and his work as a promoter has run alongside a schedule taking him to Madrid, different parts of Spain and international dates. In 2025 and 2026 he appears on line-ups with artists including Luca Agnelli, Lorenzo Raganzini and other names from European techno, while maintaining a presence at events within his own circuit.

That dual role — DJ/producer and active participant in club structures — helps explain his approach. Armero works from a functional reading of techno, with hard techno and schranz carrying particular weight, while the project is still evolving in real time. The catalogue remains short and closely tied to direct releases, with performance and promotion occupying a central place in its development.
