Seven — a number steeped in mystery and meaning, woven into the very fabric of time and space. Throughout history, the number seven has stood as an immutable symbol: from the days of the week to the alchemical metals, from the kings of Rome to its seven hills. An archetype that unites astronomy, myth, and ancient civilizations, finding its deepest expression in Rome. According to legend, the Eternal City guarded seven sacred relics, the Pignora Imperii, objects whose possession ensured divine protection, prestige, and political authority. Ovid referred to them as the “pledges of power”: testimonies of Rome’s Trojan heritage and its connection with peoples such as the Sabines, Etruscans, and Greeks. These artifacts, now lost, were: 1 /I. Lo scettro di Priamo 2/ II. Il velo di Iliona 3/ III. Il Palladio 4/ IV. Le ceneri di Oreste 5/ V. Lo scudo ancile 6/ VI. La quadriga di Veio 7/ VII. L’ago di Cibele From this mythology emerges the new project by Lykos Records: a narrative journey in seven chapters, each dedicated to one of these relics, unfolding through the various artists releases corresponding to catalogue numbers 7, 14, 21... up to LYKOS-XLIX. Chapter I, “Lo scettro di Priamo” [LYKOS-VII], is dedicated to the symbol of Troy’s power, brought to Latium by Ilioneus on Aeneas’ command as a pledge of alliance and reconciliation. It is said to have been kept on the Palatine Hill. To inaugurate this journey, seven Roman artists — PixFoil, DJ Red, Brando Lupi, Luigi Tozzi, Feral, Sunday Bath, and Worg— give life to a sonic mosaic celebrating the musical heritage of the capital. Their tracks form a collective work that bridges generations and diverse artistic visions. Each double vinyl will feature an original illustration by Roberto Mulliri, wrapping the entire front and back cover and included inside as a poster. Within the Pignora Imperii lies the strength and power of Rome, witnesses of the city’s epic saga; likewise, Lykos Records weaves its destiny into the history of these sacred Roman objects, becoming a messenger of their enduring legends. The Core Idea behind ‘Berlin Seite’ is old school: capture the raw, unfiltered energy of a live techno performance in a dark club night oozing of energy. Every track on the 10‑track digital album and the 4‑track vinyl EP is a slice taken straight from a night on the floor. The dance floors were all packed and the crowd’s and my connected energy fed straight into the machines through both the club‘s system and onto the recordings. Instead of polishing the recordings in a studio afterward, I left the grooves exactly as they were captured (with small parts looped to extend intro and outro): imperfect, breathing, and full of the spontaneous decisions that happen when you’re connecting with a crowd in that unique moment. You’ll probably sometimes hear elements from one track bleed into another, little motifs that reappear here and there accross songs. It mirrors how a live performance evolves, with ideas looping back and morphing into something new.

“Echoes Are Fragments From The Past Which Follow Us Into The Future.” When "Echoes" was first released on Kanzleramt in 2001, this sentence appeared on the album artwork. Twenty-five years later, it feels almost prophetic. Reissued for its 25th anniversary, Alexander Kowalski’s debut album returns as a defining document of a sound shaped by the spirit of 1990s Berlin techno — and as a record whose urgency, atmosphere and impact still resonate today. Created with hardware synthesizers, samplers and a Roland TR-909, "Echoes" grew out of live jams, shaped through an analogue mixing desk and processed with external effects. This hands-on approach gave the album its distinctive immediacy and presence: raw, physical and unforced, yet rich in atmosphere, detail and emotional depth. It was music that connected with critics, but also proved itself where it mattered most: in the clubs. Released at a formative moment for Kanzleramt, "Echoes" marked the beginning of Kowalski’s international career and became part of the label’s rise as one of Germany’s key techno imprints. Its balance of dancefloor force and artistic identity helped define not only an important phase in his own development, but also a wider moment in techno’s evolution. To celebrate this anniversary, all tracks have been newly remastered from the original master sources. The aim was not to alter the essence of the album, but to reveal it with greater depth, clarity and precision. Preserving the original vision while bringing the sound into the present. Now returning as a coloured 2×12″ vinyl album and in digital format, "Echoes" stands as both a landmark of its era and a record whose force continues to unfold twenty-five years later.

Unregistered Signal Event - Time to Be Free was not created. It was released.\n\nDuring what was supposed to be a controlled studio session, Pan-Pot and Gray Cosmo reportedly\ntriggered a system failure that removed all structural limits from the machines. No grid. No rules. Just a continuous surge of rhythm moving without restriction.\n\nWhat followed was not production, but escape. A groove that slips through patterns. Synths stretching beyond intention. A tension that builds not toward a drop, but toward something closer to release. The kind that happens when control is no longer part of the equation.\n\nTime to Be Free behaves like a breach. Subtle at first, then undeniable. Pulling dancers out of structure and into motion that feels instinctive rather than programmed.\n\nAs HUMAN008, the signal expands further. Music designed for moments where the room stops thinking and starts moving as one. Advisory: Exposure may result in loss of inhibition, extended dancefloor presence, and temporary rejection of routine behavior. The system opened. \n\nNo one closed it.\n\nComposed of Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix, Pan-Pot have spent the past years shaping global dancefloors while expanding their creative universe through HUMAN, a platform that exists as both label and event series. With events across Europe and North America and releases including KALTSTROM, OPERA, Nightcode and TDD, their sound continues to evolve while staying rooted in physical, emotional club experiences.\n\nGray Cosmo operates in the space between groove and atmosphere, known for crafting productions that blur the lines between structure and flow. With a sound that balances precision and feeling, their work naturally aligns with the HUMAN vision.\n\nLaunched as a new chapter in Pan-Pot's evolution, HUMAN bridges raw techno energy with something deeper. A platform built around connection, long form musical journeys, and the idea that the dancefloor still matters. Across releases and events worldwide.
