Bonobo

Bonobo is the alias of Simon Green, a British producer, DJ and musician whose career has played an important role in bringing downtempo electronics, broken beat and organic instrumentation to a broad audience without losing depth. Since the early 2000s he has built a catalogue where acoustic layers, detailed percussion, warm bass and a strongly narrative approach to electronic production coexist.

Much of his discography has developed through Ninja Tune, with albums including “Black Sands”, “Migration” and “Fragments”. Alongside his live-band format, Green remains active as a DJ and has developed the OUTLIER series as a space connecting his own music with new generations of producers and selectors.
