KI/KI

KI/KI is the project of Dutch DJ and producer Kiki Wesselo, based in Amsterdam. Her career is closely connected to the renewed presence of trance, acid and fast techno in European clubs, with sets that draw on 1990s tools and tension without treating them as a nostalgia exercise. She gained wider attention through her DJ activity in Amsterdam and recorded sets that showed a highly physical mix of trance, hard trance and acid. Over time she carried that aesthetic into production and into her own slash platform, used for releases and events. In the booth she works with long transitions, progressive builds and shifts in intensity that maintain a clear line between euphoria and club pressure.
