NHYMPH

NHYMPH is a DJ based in Barcelona and active in the scene since 2019. Her relationship with rhythm began before she entered the booth: she comes from freestyle dance, especially house and b-girling, and that background remains one of the keys to the way she mixes. Her sets treat movement in a very physical way, with shifts in tension, dominant percussion and a reading of the dancefloor that prioritises progression over a succession of isolated impacts.

Her current sound moves between fast techno, acid, classic hard techno and more groove-driven territory. Although her early years were closer to hard techno and schranz, her recent selections show a clear opening towards drier, more hypnotic and percussive techno. Sessions such as those recorded for HÖR make that evolution easy to follow: producers from different generations of techno appear in mixes that avoid being locked into a single high-intensity aesthetic.

NHYMPH expands the project through NHYPRA, an audiovisual proposal that adds a visual and cinematic layer to her performances. She is also part of Gaussian Vlur alongside KØDAK, a duo format in which she has explored live and hybrid elements. That side of the project complements her main activity as a DJ and opens space for a more performative approach.

She holds residencies at Oppøsite in Barcelona and Eclipse Lunar in Lille. Her international path includes appearances in Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Japan and the United States. In Spain she has played at Input, Nitsa, Moog, Florida 135 and other clubs, as well as festivals including Brunch Electronik and Duro Festival. She has also shared line-ups with artists such as 999999999, Kobosil, Shlømo, Indira Paganotto, Sara Landry, Airod, Yanamaste and Elli Acula.

Unlike some other profiles in this selection, NHYMPH does not yet have a consolidated discography of her own or a stable relationship with labels that is sufficiently documented. Her public identity has been built mainly through sets, residencies and audiovisual projects. That absence of catalogue should not be filled with uncertain associations: when confirmed releases or a clearly documented label arrive, they can be added to the profile.

In 2026 she remains internationally active and continues to appear on established techno session platforms, including HÖR. Her recent evolution points towards a language less dependent on the most obvious hard techno formulas and more interested in groove, tension and narrative, while retaining the energy that has defined the project from the start.
