Pan-Pot

Pan-Pot is one of the most established projects in contemporary European techno. Formed by Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix, the Berlin duo has spent more than two decades developing a recognisable sound built from power, tension and carefully detailed production.

Their music moves between dark, forceful techno and deeper, more atmospheric territory, with tracks designed both for large sound systems and for long, progressive DJ sets. That balance between impact and detail has become one of Pan-Pot's defining qualities.

During their early years they maintained a close relationship with Mobilee Records, a key label in their artistic development and the home of numerous releases, including debut album Pan-O-Rama. They later expanded their creative world by founding Second State, a platform for their own music and for other producers sharing a contemporary view of techno.

In 2015 they released The Other, one of the most ambitious projects of their career, showing a side that moved beyond pure dancefloor function and explored different textures, rhythms and atmospheres without losing the duo's identity.

In the booth, Pan-Pot are known for intense, dynamic sets that can develop from hypnotic passages into high-energy stretches. Their consistent presence across international clubs and festivals has made them a major name in the global techno circuit.

Rather than depending on a fixed formula, Pan-Pot continue to evolve around a clear idea: powerful, precise techno built to work on the dancefloor.
