Seba Ruiz

Seba Ruiz is a DJ, producer and musician from Jaén who has been based in Barcelona since 2017. He began his career in 2009, initially moving through the Andalusian club circuit before relocating to the Catalan capital and expanding his work across DJing, production and event promotion. His training includes Musiluz Audiologic, Plastic Academy and further studies in mixing, mastering and production, feeding into a sound rooted in raw, deep and hypnotic techno with some tech-house crossover.

In Barcelona, much of his activity has developed around the Sublevel BCN and Sonder BCN collectives, where he is credited as co-founder and resident DJ. His recorded output took a clear step forward in 2024 with “Life Is Simple”, made with Óscar Escapa and released by Rawness Records, followed later that year by his first solo track, “The Beginning”, on Entropía Records BCN. Alongside his studio work, Ruiz has remained active across Barcelona clubs and other Spanish cities, with appearances abroad as well. He received the Paco Level Award for Breakthrough Artist in 2021 and remains closely connected to Barcelona’s techno circuit through both his DJ work and his own projects.
