UTKU

UTKU is the project of Turkish DJ and producer Utku Ulubay, active in Istanbul's electronic music scene for more than a decade. His background includes studies in DJing, electronic music production and sound engineering at SAE, training that feeds into sets built around minimalism, house and breakbeat. His approach combines clean structures with percussion, virtual synthesis and carefully controlled shifts in dynamics designed to maintain flow on the dancefloor. Ulubay works within the orbit of Theory X, the label founded by Sezer Uysal, and has performed regularly at clubs and festivals in Turkey alongside international appearances. In 2026 he remains active from Istanbul, extending his schedule beyond the local circuit while keeping a flexible focus on house, breaks and club electronics.
