Zach Witness

Zach Witness is a Dallas-born DJ, producer, vocalist and multidisciplinary artist. His musical development began through drumming, turntablism and the local Dallas Boogie scene, where he built a strongly physical relationship with rhythm before carrying that language into production. In 2015 he produced Erykah Badu's But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape, opening a period of work with artists including André 3000, Frank Ocean and Nile Rodgers. After spending several years in London, Witness brought his own artist project back to the foreground through music connecting house, funk, soul, R&B and electronic production. In 2024 he made his Defected debut with Can't Get It Outta My Head, placing his vocals and sample-led production at the centre. His later activity has continued to combine DJing, songwriting and performance.
