ZenOne

ZenOne is the music project of Steve Zenone, a Reno, Nevada-based DJ, producer and writer whose roots reach back to the West Coast underground of the late 1980s. His music combines hypnotic techno, trance, psytrance and progressive house, using long-form grooves, psychedelic textures and a gradual approach to building tension. Alongside producing and DJing, Zenone writes about electronic music history, production and perception and is the author of Euphoria Unleashed: The Transformative Power of Trance Music. In 2025 he performed at the official afterparty for Gareth Emery's LSR/CITY Cyberpunk tour in San Francisco and holds a residency at Dead Ringer Analog Bar. Through 2026 he has maintained a steady release schedule while continuing to develop his club work and wider editorial practice.
