Crobar 20 años: Franco Cinelli, Maxime dB & Adrián de Bernardi

Crobar's twentieth anniversary provides the setting for a house-oriented night with Franco Cinelli, Maxime dB and Adrián de Bernardi on 14 November. Cinelli is a familiar figure in Argentina's electronic scene, with an extensive production catalogue and a longstanding connection to minimal and house. Paris-based Maxime dB brings a background that includes classical piano and the AirFunk project. The third name is especially significant for the venue: De Bernardi was a resident DJ at Crobar's opening night in 2006. That history gives the programme more meaning than a conventional anniversary booking. Running from 23:59 until 07:00, the party connects artists from different stages in the development of the club's musical identity. It is also a reminder that a venue's reputation depends on its regular communities and residents as much as the international names that pass through.
