EAST returns to Melkweg with its underground techno spirit

EAST began in Amsterdam in 2019 as a gathering of friends who loved sharing records and dancing to techno. Over time, that small idea grew into a community built around the room rather than the fame of whoever might be behind the decks. On 3 April 2027, the collective returns to the OZ room at Melkweg for another night of raw, groovy and sometimes hypnotic techno. EAST has become a familiar name to dancers who appreciate patient transitions and the feeling of losing themselves in a long stretch of music. There is no need for a huge festival setting to create those moments; sometimes a room full of people listening closely is enough. The event begins at 11:30pm. It is another chapter for a local series that continues to put the audience and the shared experience at the heart of Amsterdam's club culture.
