Electric Horizon brings hard techno, trance and bounce indoors in Heidelberg

Electric Horizon began with summer nights, but the people behind the festival are not ready to leave that atmosphere behind when the temperature drops. On 21 November, halle02 Heidelberg hosts its first indoor edition, bringing hard techno, trance and bounce across two floors. These styles have been crossing paths increasingly often, with faster rhythms finding new melodic ideas and classic trance energy returning to contemporary rave culture. More than ten artists are planned for a seven-hour programme beginning at 10pm. The venue's two rooms give the music room to move between different moods rather than asking every DJ to follow the same narrow formula. It is an appealing smaller-scale meeting point for listeners who enjoy big rave energy but also appreciate the intimacy of a club. A winter edition with its own character, not simply a repeat of the summer event.
