Fuse: 20 Years of Klockworks with Ben Klock, DVS1 & STERAC

Twenty years after Ben Klock established Klockworks, the label's anniversary programme arrives at Fuse on 14 November. Klock and DVS1 bring two well-known perspectives on stripped-back, rhythm-led techno, joined by Newa, Altinbas and Motion. An especially interesting detail is Steve Rachmad's appearance as STERAC for a house set, broadening the musical field beyond the label's most familiar associations. Zouzibabe and She The DJ complete the bill. The event runs from 23:00 to 07:00 in Brussels and places the imprint's history in a living club environment, where records and DJ styles are heard through their effect on a room. Klockworks' longevity is a story of music released over many years, but it is also a story about the audiences and artists who kept returning to those sounds.
