Fuse Life Extension with Partiboi69, LB aka LABAT & SALOME

Partiboi69 brings his unmistakably playful take on club culture to Fuse's Life Extension night on 20 November. His public persona mixes online humour with a genuine engagement in electro and dance-music history, a combination that makes him an unusual presence on any line-up. LB aka LABAT, SALOME and Kathleen C complete the programme, adding their own perspectives to a night that is not restricted to one narrow strand of electronic music. From 23:00 to 07:00, the Brussels club becomes a meeting point for these different approaches to selection and performance. There is more at work here than a visual joke: the appeal comes from the way familiar sounds can be rearranged, accelerated or placed in a new context. Life Extension offers a setting for that open-ended kind of clubbing.
