Hunger to Create brings four electronic live performances to Berghain

Hunger to Create returns to Berghain on 15 October with a programme devoted almost entirely to electronic live performance approached as concert and artistic process. Anthony Linell works through hypnotic techno, textured noise and dark atmospheres, while Grischa Lichtenberger moves the night towards more abstract and fragmented digital electronics. Megan Leber uses modular systems, hardware and detailed sound design, and Dasha Rush, the series' creator and curator, connects those directions through her own exploratory practice. The event begins at 21:00 and offers a different listening mode from a conventional Klubnacht: individual performances with attention to sound, technique and real-time construction rather than a programme designed only around dancing.
