Jack Shore: All Night, In The Middle — Melkweg MAX

Jack Shore turns electronic composition into something the audience can watch unfold around them. On 21 November, his In The Middle concept comes to Melkweg's MAX room for an all-night edition, placing the producer within the crowd instead of behind a conventional distant stage. Synthesizers and loop stations allow him to build and rearrange music as the performance progresses. The event follows a fourteen-date headline tour that sold out quickly, but the extended format creates a different kind of listening experience. Shore moved to Amsterdam at twenty-one and developed a close relationship with the people following his approach to live production. Starting at 23:59, the night lets rhythm, improvisation and the response of dancers influence one another in real time.
