KHIDI: Regal, Delano Legito, Frequency Shifter and residents

On Friday 6 November, KHIDI opens both dancefloors beneath Tbilisi's Vakhushti Bagrationi Bridge for a meeting between local residents and international techno. Involve Records founder Regal returns to a club that has become a recurring stop on his circuit, joining Rotterdam-based Delano Legito, whose selections move fluidly between house and techno. KXAH brings a percussion-led approach, and KHIDI resident Frequency Shifter performs live rather than playing a conventional DJ set. Boyd Schidt and Dual Pistols give the main floor two contrasting perspectives on the Georgian scene. Over in G2, Philipp Drube, Iamea and Obri explore trance influences and less linear club sounds. The combination of two rooms and several approaches offers more than a single peak-time headline: it is a chance to hear how Tbilisi's established and emerging voices interact.
