LAMPÉ, Schaarup & Onsberg at Culture Box

LAMPÉ takes the Black Box at Copenhagen's Culture Box on Saturday 7 November, with Schaarup and Onsberg also appearing in the room. Rønhöff & Louin and Cøkit provide an alternative programme in Red Box. The division between the two spaces is important to the way this club works: people can follow one musical thread or move between different selections as the night changes. Doors open at 22:00 and the music continues until 08:00, giving the DJs a proper overnight setting in which to develop their ideas. There is no need for a crowded festival-scale bill to make this event interesting. A handful of artists, two rooms and a regular local audience are enough to sustain a distinctive gathering. It is a small but useful snapshot of Copenhagen's active electronic music community.
