Rabent returns to MOOG on Sunday 29 November with a sound rooted in Barcelona's independent techno community. As the founder of Asphixia Group, he has spent more than fifteen years organising and taking part in the city's electronic scene. His DJ style moves between repetitive grooves, darker techno and unexpected shifts in direction, an approach that makes sense in MOOG's compact main room. Mr. Majestyk is scheduled to play in Villarosa, giving the second room its own musical personality. Doors open at 23:59 and the event continues until 05:00 on Monday morning. The date is significant because of its ordinariness: Barcelona has clubs where electronic music happens even on a Sunday night, sustained by residents, organisers and people who regularly return to dance. Rabent's set belongs to that ongoing local culture rather than a one-off spectacular booking.
