MOSTRA Barcelona returns for its sixth edition, 11–14 March

MOSTRA Barcelona returns for its sixth edition from 11 to 14 March 2027, bringing four evenings of adventurous electronic music to two different venues. The festival opens on Thursday at Casa Montjuïc in Poble-sec, before moving to the Vall d'Hebron Olympic Pavilion from Friday through Sunday. The pavilion's limited capacity of one thousand creates a deliberately intimate setting for an event focused on the relationship between artist, sound system and audience. Announced performers include James Ruskin and Regis as O/V/R, Jane Fitz, Garçon, Mammo, DOC, Lanav and Timnah, alongside Thomas Köner presenting his Permafrost performance. Across techno, ambient and experimental live music, the programme reflects MOSTRA's interest in ideas and techniques that sit outside more commercial festival structures. An Olympic Pass covers the three pavilion nights, while Thursday's opening ceremony is ticketed separately. Beyond the music, the wider project supports local electronic artists through talks, recorded sessions and other cultural activities. The organisers confirm that all festival sessions are restricted to attendees aged eighteen or over.
