Nia Archives brings her emotional jungle sound to Melkweg

Nia Archives has helped bring jungle back into conversations that extend well beyond the underground rave circuit. Her tracks can move at breakneck speed while leaving plenty of room for soulful melodies and lyrics that feel intimate and direct. Since emerging in 2020, she has remixed artists including Jorja Smith and Yeah Yeah Yeahs, while developing a musical identity that draws from drum and bass, indie and pop as naturally as from classic jungle. On 2 December her Emotional World Tour arrives at Melkweg in Amsterdam, with music from Emotional Junglist part of this new chapter. Doors open at 7pm in the MAX room. The concert has moved from Gashouder to Melkweg, an important change for anyone already planning the evening. It is a performance that reflects how lively the meeting point between club rhythms and songwriting has become.
