Collective Exile turns Night IV towards Toronto’s local underground

Collective Exile returns to The Jama for a fourth edition built around Toronto artists. Hiroki opens the main room, Ciel takes the central slot and Olekhar closes, while wabi controls the downstairs floor throughout the night. The programme moves through dubby and minimal techno, broken rhythms and more psychedelic territory, but its strongest thread is local rather than stylistic: each booking comes from a different corner of Toronto’s underground network. Ciel brings years of work across production, DJing and promotion in the city, Hiroki approaches the floor through stripped-back and textural selections, and wabi adds the audiovisual and community-driven perspective that has shaped its Toronto activity since the late 1990s.
