Perreo del Futuro — Halloween at The Ground Miami

Perreo del Futuro takes over The Ground on Saturday 31 October for a Halloween party shaped around the culture of perreo and its relationship with contemporary dancefloors. The event is based in the indoor room of the Club Space complex in Miami, with separate admission from the better-known Terrace. Music begins at 23:00 and is scheduled to continue until 07:00 on Sunday. What distinguishes this gathering is its own party identity: the meeting of people around rhythm and movement rather than the prestige of a long list of international headliners. The Ground's smaller scale makes the exchange between music and dancers immediate, and the seasonal occasion gives the community another reason to come together. This is part of the broad electronic underground that connects club music with urban dance traditions.
