Sarah Wild at Culture Box: Pelzman, DJ Spice & Jan Brandi EP night

Sarah Wild returns to Culture Box on 6 November with a musical background that reaches beyond the conventional house DJ circuit. Raised in eastern Germany, she played in bands before moving into electronic production, releasing on Permanent Vacation and Feines Tier and starting her own Midnight Operators imprint. She is joined in Black Box by Pelzman and DJ Spice. In the Red Box, the night also marks the release of a new EP by Jan Brandi, who plays alongside Dasha, Anya and Frede. It is a useful double focus: a visiting artist with a distinctive musical story and a local record release being celebrated on a real dancefloor. The Copenhagen club opens at 22:00 and continues until 08:00, allowing the different sides of the event to develop without being squeezed into a short performance window.
