Simone Zino, Maria Fagranes & Midele at Culture Box

On Friday 20 November, Simone Zino, Maria Fagranes and Midele share the Black Box at Culture Box. Meanwhile Azadî and Almost Ginger take charge of the Red Box, giving the audience a second musical direction to follow during the night. The event starts at 22:00 and runs until 08:00, an extended format that leaves room for different DJs to establish their own rhythmic ideas rather than rushing through short appearances. This is one of the strengths of Copenhagen's two-room club: the programme can be compact while the range of listening experiences remains broad. The line-up brings different selectors into the same conversation, and the floor itself plays a part as people respond to the transitions between sets. Small club nights like this are where much of a city's electronic culture continues to develop.
