Tresor New Faces: Lowpass, Agnes Stark and Astrover

Tresor Berlin hands its New Faces programme to Lowpass on Wednesday 25 November. The Berlin-based label and event series moves between ambient listening sessions and intimate club nights, with an emphasis on artists who have yet to become widely established. Agnes Stark, a live appearance from Astrover, Morten B. and Schwarzmalerei make up the Tresor room, while Enzio Etchaberri is announced for the Aurora Bar. The programme is a useful counterpoint to the international headliner circuit: its aim is to give a local platform an entire night and allow contrasting musical identities to emerge. The official club page confirms all five names but does not supply individual set times, so the running order is left open. What matters is the connection between a record label, its artists and Berlin's active dancefloor culture.
