999999999 and 6EJOU take Unreal Weekender into harder territory

Few names have given acid techno a sharper contemporary edge than 999999999. The Italian duo's live approach combines twisting acid lines with the speed and pressure of today's harder rave circuit. On Saturday 7 November they join the second night of Unreal Weekender at Bootshaus in Cologne, alongside In Verruf and 6EJOU. The latter brings a more industrial language to the dancefloor, while Callush, Danilo Filipe, Durdenhauer, Nachtigaller, Riana Holley and Two Girls One Mom broaden the musical picture across the night. This is a lineup that reflects how far hard techno has travelled in recent years, from its warehouse roots to large and carefully produced club events. Music begins at 10pm and runs until 8am on Sunday. There is plenty of time for the sound to move between acid, pounding kicks and the darker end of the rave spectrum.
