06S 25th Anniversary with Friction

06S marks 25 years at Tokyo's WOMB by welcoming Friction back to a party that has been central to Japan's drum & bass culture. The British DJ and producer has played the residency repeatedly over its long history, making his return particularly relevant to this anniversary. As the founder of Shogun Audio and Elevate Records, and a former host of BBC Radio 1's Drum & Bass Show, Friction represents both the genre's recording culture and its club tradition. His first WOMB appearance in eight years gives the night a strong connection between the history of 06S and the current sound of drum & bass. Few recurring club nights have maintained such a clear identity for a quarter-century.
