Clawz with Dr Donk – Mutate Los Angeles

Mutate brings Clawz and Dr Donk to Avalon Hollywood for a night focused on harder forms of club music. Clawz is billed for an extended set, with Dr Donk joining as a special guest whose work is closely associated with the extreme bass sound known as zaagstep. Held on the eve of Thanksgiving, the show offers Los Angeles a high-energy alternative to more conventional midweek programming. Avalon, a long-established club on Vine Street, provides an unusually familiar setting for music that moves between fast techno and bass experimentation. The pairing also illustrates Mutate's interest in pushing beyond narrow genre boundaries while retaining an uncompromising connection to the dancefloor.
