SXM Festival will return to Saint Martin and Sint Maarten from 17 to 21 March 2027 for its tenth edition. The first line-up wave contains 31 artists, including Sasha, Guy Gerber, Meduza, Patrick Topping, Dennis Cruz, Bob Sinclar, Tini Gessler and Franky Rizardo.

Ten editions is a useful point from which to read the festival’s identity. SXM has never been built around one arena or a single main stage: its programme moves between beaches, clubs, villas and island locations, with day and night sessions forming one continuous schedule. That structure remains central for 2027.

The first wave keeps house at the centre

The opening announcement leans heavily into house in several forms. Dennis Cruz, Chelina Manuhutu, Patrick Topping, Matt Sassari and Max Styler cover the groove-led and tech-house side; Guy Gerber, Deer Jade and Jackie Hollander move toward melodic territory; Bob Sinclar, Dombresky and Disco Dom bring disco and French-house reference points into the same bill.

Sasha returns in a first phase that spans progressive house, tech house, disco and melodic sounds.

There are also projects whose references sit further from standard Ibiza house programming. Indo Warehouse brings its New York-built Indo House approach, Pauza works from Afro-Cuban rhythms, and Nico De Andrea brings a more melodic Afro-house direction. The first announcement therefore has a clear centre of gravity without flattening every stage into the same tempo or palette.

Five days across an island rather than one festival site

SXM’s format remains unusually dependent on geography. The festival advertises more than five venues spread across the island, with programming moving from daytime beach settings into night sessions. Some of the smaller satellite events, including its Panorama mountaintop party, operate with sharply limited capacity rather than functioning as extensions of a large central field.

That geography also shapes how tickets work. Five-day passes cover the full core run, while three-day passes provide a shorter entry point; daily tickets are expected only after the complete line-up and day splits are announced. The Panorama event is restricted to a small audience and requires a five-day pass before its separate reservation.

A tenth edition still waiting on its second half

The first wave gives the anniversary edition its initial frame but it is explicitly incomplete. Days, stages and set times have not been assigned, and the festival says further artists will follow. That leaves space for the smaller and later-night names that often determine how the island schedule actually feels once the timetable arrives.

SXM Festival 2027 — phase one
  • Dates: 17–21 March 2027
  • Location: Saint Martin | Sint Maarten
  • Edition: 10th
  • First wave: 31 artists
  • Age: 18+
  • Format: five days and nights across multiple island venues

For now, the 31-name announcement places established names such as Sasha and Guy Gerber alongside newer festival regulars including Sapian, Jackie Hollander and Gudfella. The next announcement will show how far SXM intends to widen that mix for its anniversary year.
