Blackworks opens 2027 with twelve hours of techno in Leganés

While much of Madrid is still recovering from New Year's Eve, Blackworks will already be getting the first major rave of 2027 underway. On Friday 1 January, the collective returns to La Nueva Cubierta in Leganés for twelve hours of techno, from 6pm until six the next morning. Blackworks has become one of Spain's most recognisable names in hard techno, building a community around fast rhythms, a striking visual identity and an appetite for long indoor sessions. Starting the year together has turned into something of a ritual for many followers of the brand. La Cubierta's large central space has hosted this gathering before, and the new edition gives that familiar setting another full night of electronic music. The music, the people and the sense of reunion after the holidays are what give a New Year's Day party like this its particular character.
