Electro Symphony turns dance anthems into a live orchestral show in Brussels

What happens when a dance anthem is given to a room full of orchestral musicians? Electro Symphony explores that meeting point at Cirque Royal in Brussels on 25 May 2027 with Orchestra Dance Party. More than thirty-five players, singers and soloists reinterpret music associated with Tiësto, Avicii, Darude, David Guetta and Calvin Harris, bringing strings, brass and live percussion into melodies usually heard through club speakers. The evening moves through three parts: a DJ warm-up, an orchestral performance and an afterparty led by French DJ Charles B. Doors open at 7pm, with the main programme starting at 8pm. The idea works because so many of these melodies already have a life of their own, even when removed from their original recordings. Hearing them reshaped by a live ensemble offers a playful new angle on the history of dance music.
