Jersey bring NOTHING’S FAKE and their fierce live energy to Melkweg

Brothers Carl and Renaud have found a place where the energy of a rock band and the thrill of French electronic music can meet. As Jersey, they make tracks full of restless synths, club rhythms and melodies that seem to arrive at exactly the right emotional moment. Their debut album NOTHING’S FAKE opens another chapter after a run of striking live performances and remix work connected to acts such as Justice and Phoenix. On 25 February they bring the show to Amsterdam's Melkweg. The appeal is in how little the duo seems to care about the borders between indie, pop and dance music: all of it can belong to the same song if the feeling is right. Doors open at 7pm in the MAX room. It should be an interesting chance to hear how those studio ideas come alive in the physical space of a concert.
