Luminosity celebrates 19 years of trance in Amsterdam

For many trance listeners, Luminosity feels less like a brand and more like a place where familiar faces meet again. Over nearly two decades, its parties have helped keep the genre's melodic traditions alive while welcoming new directions and faster, more driving sounds. On 19 December, the nineteenth-anniversary celebration comes to Amsterdam's Melkweg. KEY4050, the collaboration between John O'Callaghan and Bryan Kearney, shares the programme with Mark Sherry and The Thrillseekers, connecting different chapters of trance history in one room. The MAX opens for the party at 11:59pm. A winter club night has a different character from the open-air gatherings Luminosity is known for: the crowd is closer, the sound feels immediate and there is time to rediscover tracks that mean something to people who have followed this scene for years.
