Released in 1998, Consumed represents one of Plastikman's deepest and most inward-looking explorations. Space, bass frequencies and small changes in electronic texture do much of the expressive work, rather than sudden dramatic effects. Contain and Consume establish the pace; Core Ten, Locomotion and In Side unfold across longer forms, while the two Passage pieces provide transitions.
