DJ Pastis

DJ Pastis, the stage name of David Álvarez Tudela, is one of the historic figures of Catalan mákina. His career became closely associated with booths including Sala del Cel, Pont Aeri, Megatron and Xque?, as well as a long period alongside DJ Buenri that made Pastis & Buenri a central name in the scene. His booth language is built around mákina and happy hardcore, with fast mixing, physical energy and vinyl culture. Decades after that first wave, Pastis remains active both solo and as part of the duo, connecting club sessions, Makina Legends events and new appearances before a generation that has rediscovered the sound.
