Anyma

Anyma is the solo project of Matteo Milleri, an Italian-American producer and multidisciplinary artist, member of Tale Of Us and co-founder of the Afterlife label and platform. Born in New York and raised in Italy, Milleri has developed an artistic identity in which melodic techno, digital design and audiovisual storytelling form part of the same experience.

Launched in 2021, Anyma explores the relationship between technology, nature and human consciousness through emotionally charged productions and shows populated by robotic figures, digital creatures and futuristic environments. That creative universe is documented across the trilogy of Genesys, Genesys II and The End of Genesys, with tracks including Consciousness, Syren, Pictures of You and Hypnotized, alongside collaborations with artists such as Grimes, Ellie Goulding, Sevdaliza, Chris Avantgarde and Massano.

The project reached a new scale with The End of Genesys, making Anyma the first electronic music artist to headline a residency at Sphere Las Vegas. The visuals do more than accompany the music: they build narratives around artificial intelligence, transformation and coexistence between the human and the digital. That combination has made Anyma one of the most recognisable figures in contemporary electronic music and a major force in large-scale audiovisual performance.
