The fastest route into Pablo Bozzi's latest activity on AT-DJ.
Pablo Bozzi is a Berlin-based DJ and producer whose work connects EBM, techno, italo, trance, new beat and a highly personal reading of European club culture. Before focusing on his own name, he was part of Imperial Black Unit and developed projects including Lapse of Reason, Lost Highway and, later, Soft Crash with Phase Fatale. That early phase explains much of his language: dark basslines, sharply defined synthetic sequences and a melodic sensibility that does not rigidly separate the industrial body of the dancefloor from the brighter tradition of European dance music.
His solo discography began to take shape towards the end of the 2010s. In 2019 he released Murder Under Establishment as Imperial Black Unit on aufnahme + wiedergabe and, under Lapse of Reason, issued Sorrows on the same Berlin label. As Pablo Bozzi, he released Walk On Wire on BITE Records in 2020, an EP that opened a phase more directly connected to house, trance and 1990s club rhythms. Further releases followed on Dischi Autunno, including Last Moscow Mule and, in 2024, Fantasy, where pianos, elastic basslines, acid and a production style more openly built around dancefloor pleasure come to the fore.
In parallel, Bozzi has developed several collaborative projects. Soft Crash, with Phase Fatale, explores a mixture of EBM, techno, synth pop and italo with a strong live and visual-design component. The project has appeared on labels such as BITE and played venues including Berghain/Panorama Bar and KHIDI. Compared with the severity of some of his earlier productions, Soft Crash leaves more room for broader melodies, vocals, song structures and club references from the 1980s and 1990s.
In 2023 he founded Second Sight, his own Berlin-based label. Its first release, Unknown Prospect Vol. 1, made the platform's intention clear: to publish producers who move between styles while retaining a club identity. Since then, Second Sight has released music by Bozzi himself and artists including Sevda, Miguel de Bois, Close Proximity and Gewaltem. The catalogue includes Unknown Prospect Vol. 2, the collaborative Angel Eyes EP with Mac Declos and Bozzi releases such as Higher with Lexi L'Acqua, Blackwater Edit and Wired in 2026.
His recent production has moved towards a particularly fluid blend of progressive house, trance, tribal house, electro and italo. He does not treat those styles as nostalgic exercises; he uses them to build fast, highly melodic sets with references crossing different decades. His sessions can include EBM and techno tools alongside dance vocals, his own edits and club material with a direct emotional charge.
That breadth is now one of the defining traits of Pablo Bozzi. His catalogue runs through aufnahme + wiedergabe, BITE, Khemia, Dischi Autunno and his own Second Sight, while his parallel projects stretch from the severity of Imperial Black Unit to the more expansive electronics of Soft Crash. In the booth, that history becomes a selection where trance, EBM, italo, house and techno mix without a fixed hierarchy.
