Worg

Worg is the project of Italian composer, producer, sound designer and live performer Andrea Lupo, based in Rome. His work moves through experimental techno, ambient and deep techno, using hypnotic textures, metallic dissonance, noise and spectral soundscapes as recurring materials. In 2018 he founded Lykos Records, which has become the main platform for his own sonic research and for work by other artists connected to deep and experimental electronic music. His catalogue has also appeared on labels including Illegal Alien Records, Circular Limited, Warok, Lowless, BAHN· Records and Secuencias Temporales. Live, he works with a broad palette that can move from ambient layers and soft pads to persistent sequences and more abrasive passages, keeping sound design closely tied to club structure.
