Dixon

Dixon is the alias of Berlin DJ and producer Steffen Berkhahn, a figure associated since the 1990s with a form of house DJing built around long sets, narrative and selection rather than a prolific production identity. His career began in Berlin's club circuit and later crystallised around Innervisions, the label he runs with Âme and which since 2005 has developed a distinct catalogue across house, techno and melodic electronic music. His Body Language mix, remix work and a sustained international schedule expanded his influence as a DJ. Alongside club work he has developed Transmoderna, a project connecting music, digital art and staging, and more recently TRI/XON. In 2026 Innervisions remains active while Dixon continues to explore formats that extend his booth practice into audiovisual and curatorial territory.
