Overmono

Overmono is the project of brothers Tom and Ed Russell, who brought together their previous work as Truss and Tessela to develop a language spanning techno, breakbeat, UK garage and bass-heavy club electronics. Since their early EPs for XL Recordings, the duo have built a recognisable sound from restless percussion, cut-up vocals and a melodic charge that works both live and away from the dancefloor.

Their debut album, “Good Lies”, arrived in 2023 and consolidated a period of rapid international growth. In 2026 they released “Pure Devotion”, continuing that line between rave energy, detailed sound design and tracks with an increasingly emotional dimension.
