Terminal V has revealed Clydeside Live in Glasgow as the home of its tenth-anniversary festival, scheduled for 4–6 June 2027. The move will create the brand's first three-day Scottish edition and its first fully outdoor festival in the country. Located along the north bank of the River Clyde, the developing site places the event within the city's historic docklands rather than the indoor halls associated with its earlier Edinburgh chapter.
A new location changes the production
The organisers plan a purpose-built layout, including a redesigned Area V main stage at the water's edge. Established spaces such as The Hangar and The Greenhouse will also be adapted for the outdoor setting. Details of the full artist programme were still to be announced in the initial release, with more than 100 acts expected. It would be premature to attach unconfirmed names to the first Glasgow line-up.

Terminal V began in 2017 as a one-day event at Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre. Over the following decade it expanded into a prominent fixture for techno and other underground electronic sounds, before establishing additional international editions. The change of city therefore represents a significant operational decision as well as a creative one: moving outdoors alters the relationship between the sound systems, stages, production and surrounding neighbourhood.
EE Live, the independent Scottish company behind Terminal V, is developing the anniversary edition at a site intended to host other cultural events in the future. Its industrial surroundings reflect a visual language long associated with the festival, although the practical demands of a waterfront outdoor event will differ from those of its previous buildings. The first line-up announcement will be the next major indication of how the programme is being shaped for Glasgow.
