Breakaway is treating 2026 less like a single festival run and more like a national electronic circuit. The brand’s official season page now lays out a series of city stops across the United States, with dance music placed at the centre of several of the calendar’s biggest weekends.
The shape of the programme is broad rather than purist: mainstage EDM, bass music, tech-house and harder festival sounds sit next to crossover names, a booking style that has helped Breakaway scale beyond a single regional identity.
The New York City edition is currently listed for July 17th with Tiësto, D.O.D. and Lilly Palmer among the names attached. Michigan follows in August with FISHER, Subtronics and Two Friends, while Massachusetts pairs Crankdat, Excision, Gryffin, It’s Murph and Zedd.
What stands out is the way Breakaway is using regional scale without losing the easy-read language of a dance festival. The 2026 page is built for movement: pick a city, scan the names, commit to a weekend.
