Breakaway Houston will make its debut on 13–14 November 2026 at the Festival Grounds at Shell Energy Stadium, closing Breakaway’s 13-city season with Dom Dolla, GRiZ, Cloonee and Tape B at the top of the bill.

Houston is one of three new markets added to the 2026 route alongside New York City and Utah. By the time the festival reaches Texas in November, Breakaway will have moved through a full US season that started in Dallas in April and stretched across house, bass, melodic electronic music and crossover festival programming.

Dom Dolla and Cloonee carry the house side

Dom Dolla returns for a second Breakaway appearance of the year after playing Tampa in April. His place at the top of the Houston lineup reflects how firmly his rolling tech-house sound has moved into large US festival slots. Cloonee brings a leaner, groove-led approach built around percussion and stripped-back club arrangements.

GRiZ brings a live-performance element to the Houston headline lineup.

GRiZ and Tape B anchor the bass side. GRiZ’s live setup gives the weekend a different physical shape: saxophone, live instrumentation and big melodic sections sit alongside heavy low-end production. Tape B occupies a more sample-driven corner of contemporary bass music, with hip-hop references and dubstep pressure sitting close together in his sets.

The undercard moves across house, bass and live electronics

The supporting lineup includes BLOND:ISH, INZO, Big Gigantic, Kaleena Zanders, Riordan, Daniel Allan, Wreckno, Know Good, HOL!, Steller, Frank Walker, jigitz, Ares Carter and 2ŁØT. That spread gives Houston one of the broader Breakaway bills of the year, with enough separation between genres to avoid reducing the weekend to one continuous mainstage sound.

GRiZ’s combination of electronic production and live instrumentation remains central to his festival shows.

Houston artists also have a visible place on the bill. Jake Shore, Hans Glader, Soar, Linska, Celo, Kendi, DEM1GOD and KADE FINDLEY are listed alongside the touring names, giving the inaugural edition a larger local contingent than many first-year festival launches manage.
