Breakaway Utah will make its debut at America First Field in Sandy on 2–3 October 2026, bringing a lineup led by John Summit, Chris Lake, Tiësto, Kaskade and a first-time Gorgon City b2b MPH set. The festival lists more than 20 artists across three stages, with doors scheduled from 4pm to 11pm on both days.
The Utah stop arrives during Breakaway’s largest touring year to date. The 2026 season spans 13 markets, including new editions in New York City, Salt Lake City and Houston. Sandy sits late in that run, after Philadelphia and Carolina and before the closing Houston edition in November.
House takes the lead in Utah
The upper half of the lineup leans decisively towards house. John Summit and Chris Lake cover two of the biggest current strains of American peak-time club music, while Kaskade is booked for a sunset set. Tiësto adds the broadest crossover name on the bill, and Gorgon City’s b2b with MPH brings a UK-facing edge to the weekend.
Below the headliners, Max Styler, Jackie Hollander, Roddy Lima and Soraya keep that house and techno emphasis moving through the bill. Kasablanca bring a live electronic setup, while Audien and Trivecta cover the melodic end of the festival’s programming. Frank Walker, Niiko x SWAE, BONNIE X CLYDE, Ares Carter, Mojave Grey and Brandi Cyrus complete much of the national support.
The heavier side of Breakaway is still represented. Ray Volpe, HEYZ and HerShe are booked alongside LAYZ b2b TYNAN, giving bass-focused fans a clear counterweight to the weekend’s dominant house direction.
Kaskade gets the sunset slot
Kaskade’s sunset billing carries a local connection that is difficult to miss. Ryan Raddon studied at the University of Utah before his career took him through San Francisco, Chicago-rooted house influences and the American festival circuit. In a lineup stacked with current chart and club names, his set brings a longer historical thread to the programme.
The setting also changes the feel of the booking. America First Field is a football stadium in Sandy rather than a purpose-built dance venue, so the festival is working with the large-scale infrastructure Breakaway has increasingly used across its US route. Three stages allow the programme to split between the main draw and more targeted genre pockets without forcing every act into the same timetable.
Tickets and the 2026 Breakaway route
Breakaway currently lists two-day GA, VIP, Terrace and Ultimate VIP options for Utah, with festival tickets starting at $169 on the official site. The organiser also states that set times and the site map will be published closer to the event.
Utah follows a 2026 Breakaway calendar that has already moved through Dallas, Tampa, Arizona, Atlanta, Ohio, Las Vegas, Minnesota, New York City, Michigan and Massachusetts. Philadelphia and Carolina come next in September, with Sandy scheduled for early October and Houston closing the season on 13–14 November.
