Pioneer DJ has released firmware version 1.19 for the DJM-A9, adding support for RMX-IGNITE. The update was published on 15 January 2026 and is available through the official firmware download route and Firmware Update Manager.
The core change is narrow but meaningful: the DJM-A9 can now work with AlphaTheta’s newer RMX-IGNITE effector. Pioneer DJ also specifies the physical connection needed to enable DIGITAL SEND/RETURN: the mixer’s MULTI I/O terminal must be connected to the RMX-IGNITE USB for MULTI I/O terminal with a USB cable.
