Pioneer DJ has completed its compatibility research for iPadOS 26 across a set of mobile apps used by DJs and production-focused users. The company published the update on 23 June 2026, confirming verification for Stagehand, rekordbox, DJM-REC, RMX-1000 for iPad and WeDJ for iPad.
The headline result is reassuring, but not absolute. Pioneer DJ states that full functionality is not guaranteed with iPadOS 26 and advises users to run the latest firmware and software before relying on the platform in a live or studio-critical setup.

Pioneer DJ also repeats a specific note for RMX-1000 for iPad. On iPadOS 14 or later, users need to allow both RMX-1000 for iPad and Audiobus to access the local network. Without that permission, RMX-1000 for iPad may not work correctly from Audiobus.
For DJs using iPad-based tools as part of a performance rig, the sensible response is procedural rather than reactive: update early, check permissions, test the exact chain of apps and hardware, and avoid treating an operating-system upgrade as a day-of-show task.
