Pitchfork Festival CDMX has revealed the first slate of artists for its 2026 return, setting up a multi-venue Mexico City edition from September 23rd to 27th.
The announcement confirms American Football, Cacomixtle, Lido Pimienta, Mar Previa, Perfume Genius, Sanje and Tonga Conga, with more names still to come. Events are listed across venues including Foro Indie Rocks! and Orbe.
A city edition rather than a field festival
The CDMX format gives Pitchfork a different centre of gravity from a traditional park event. Instead of one site absorbing everything, the festival can use the city’s venue network to split mood, scale and audience behaviour across the week.
For AT@DJ, the interesting part is not only the names announced so far, but the way Mexico City continues to function as a serious hub for international alternative and electronic-adjacent programming.AT@DJ / CONTEXT
Tickets are already on sale through the festival’s official channels, while the first announcement leaves space for a second wave to sharpen the electronic and club-facing edges of the bill.
