Sammy Virji brings his 2026 North America tour to Brooklyn Army Terminal for two open-air dates on 31 July and 1 August. The shows take place at Pier 4 on the Sunset Park waterfront, with X CLUB. and 33 Below supporting Friday and Sam Gellaitry joining 33 Below on Saturday.
Both dates start at 4pm, placing much of the programme in daylight before the waterfront moves into sunset. EMW Presents lists Brooklyn Army Terminal as the venue, while AXS confirms the separate support lineups for each night.
Two nights with different support bills
Friday puts Virji next to X CLUB., whose fast club sets pull from techno, trance, breaks and harder rave pressure, and 33 Below, a producer whose catalogue moves between UK garage, drum & bass and bass-heavy club music. Saturday keeps 33 Below and adds Sam Gellaitry, widening the palette with a producer whose work has long moved through hip-hop-influenced electronics, house and melodic songwriting.
For Virji, the pairing makes sense around the edges of UK garage rather than through a single narrow definition of the genre. His own sets are built around swinging drums, bassline pressure, vocal hooks and unreleased dubs, but the support stretches towards harder club music on Friday and more melodic electronic production on Saturday.
Brooklyn Army Terminal has become a major summer dance site
The location is part of the appeal. Brooklyn Army Terminal was built on the Sunset Park waterfront and now operates as a large industrial campus. Pier 4 sits on the water, giving outdoor shows a direct sightline across New York Harbor. During the 2026 summer calendar, the site has become one of the city’s busiest large-format electronic venues.
Virji’s weekend arrives during a particularly busy run at the venue. Adriatique played there in July, while later summer bookings include Cloonee, Alesso and Mau P. That calendar gives New York a waterfront alternative to the warehouses and clubs that usually carry the city’s larger dance lineups.
Virji’s US profile keeps growing
The Brooklyn dates follow several years in which UK garage has regained a much larger international audience. Virji has been one of the most visible artists in that shift, using energetic DJ sets and direct, hook-heavy productions to move the sound into festival rooms that rarely programmed garage at this scale a few seasons ago.
His recent run includes the gold-certified If U Need It and the Skepta collaboration Cops & Robbers. In 2026 his tour schedule also includes dates across Europe and North America, with later stops listed in Montréal, Red Rocks, Vancouver, Seattle and the San Francisco Bay Area.
